First Update

Good evening,

Just to let you know what has been added today. There is a contact form to the right, an option to get updates sent to your email, an option at the bottom to become a follower of this blog and finally, a facebook feed for the facebook sister of this blog as well as a feed for the Colchester Sexual Assault Center, CMHA NS and Truro Branch as well as the SOUP cafe (run by CMHA-Truro), Change The Tide, and the Colchester East-Hants Public Library as well as their Teen page. So, yup, set up is coming along nicely and I hope to have the first video posted in the next couple of days.

My first goal is to post seven videos, approxiamately five minutes long each, to give you a brief introduction to the Seven Pillars.

My second goal is to post a series of videos about particular issues regarding mental health and quality of life, the first of which will be variations on the Mental Health Issues in Males and the Secercy That Surronds It I gave to the Truro Lodge #43 of the Free Masons, on two occassions this past year. I was presented with the gift of a sword as a token of appreciation for this work.

Keep checking back, updates will be forthcoming.

In Weal and Woe,

Chris

Project Launch: First Pillar

So the evolution of a project five years in the making is finally taking form. I originally created an appendix for a paper written at college back in 2010. It was called "six pillars for good mental health". It is now evolved into "Seven Pillars For Positive Mental Growth" with a graphic "tree of life" model featuring three roots of surviving, trunk and branches of thriving, and the canopy of giving back. There are animal acronyms for each of the pillars to remember the key points. More to come soon.
